While code and algiorithms are far from simple, AI methods, especially neural networks, are far more complex, in terms of the number and behaviour of entities. For example, LLMs may have hundreds of billions of weights. Complexity is one of the three Cs, the ways in which AI is special compared with other digital and physical technologies.
