Machine assisted topic analysis (MATA) aids human analysis of qualitative data by using machine learning and AI. A typical process might begin with the human analyst coding a small portion of transcript or video; which is used to train an AI model. The AI then begins to code the entire corpus, semi-interactively. Later in the process automatic clustering might be used to help uncover higher-level concepts and themes.
