Terms from Artificial Intelligence: humans at the heart of algorithms

A frame is a knowledge represention structure where each item has a number of slots. For example frames representing animals this might include slots for number_of_legs, flies, or common_name. Slots may be true/false ({Boolean values}}, numbers, or other forms of data including more frames. Frames have similarities to some forms of object-orented systems.
