Terms from Artificial Intelligence: humans at the heart of algorithms

The glossary is being gradually proof checked, but currently has many typos and misspellings.

In biological populations, different indviduals grpw, breed and die at differnet times, the idea of a generation is therefore an average time from birth to breeding. In a genetic algorithm the artificial process is usually more lock-step, with a population being considered as a group where fitness assessment, mutation, breeding and death applied to all at a single time step.
