reasoning over networks

Terms from Artificial Intelligence: humans at the heart of algorithms

The glossary is being gradually proof checked, but currently has many typos and misspellings.

Reasoning over a network representation of knowledge, such as semantic network, requires different methods compared with the more linear sentance-like representations of formal logic. This may include following the link structure (as you may be doing with this glossary), identifying subgraphs matching patterns of connections, or spreading activation (like the PageRank algorithm).
