Reification in general refers to the rtepresentation of abstract concepts in concrete form. In particular, it is used in Semantic Web technologies to refer the the representation of an RDF statement (triple) in RDF, to allow formal representations of statements such as "the repositiy at example.org says that Alan Dix is a fish".
