Terms from Artificial Intelligence: humans at the heart of algorithms

The glossary is being gradually proof checked, but currently has many typos and misspellings.

Signal processing refers to various forms of low-level processing of time-series or image data, including various forms of linear filters or time series analysis techniques. It may be used on its own, for example, to reduce noise in audio for human listeners. In AI signal processing may be used as pre-processing step before other forms of machine learning.
