Terms from Artificial Intelligence: humans at the heart of algorithms

The glossary is being gradually proof checked, but currently has many typos and misspellings.

Sometimes people have specific prejudices, classes of things or people they do not like , or have preconceived ideas about. This bias might be deliberately built into systems, for example, denying entry to a country based on religion. However, bias may also arise unintentionally in AI systems, for example through unconscious bias in training data, or differing base rates.
