Deployment is the process of making a product or service available to people outside of the development team. This may involve technical changes. such as removing debugging code and moving to a production server. It may also need more bureacratic steps such as getting approval to show on AppleStore or Google Play. There will also be different health and safety, privacy and legal requirements when code goes public, for example registering with the government data protection department.
