Interoception refers to senses and perception focused on the inside of our bodies. For example, when we feel hunger or sickness. Within UX design the aspect of interoception that is likely to be most critical is proprioception, the sensing of our limb position and body posture, which enables you, inter alia, to be able to manipulate objects without looking at them.
